Music is, more often than not, atmosphere for me. That’s why I listen to fairly mellow electronic music most of the time. Lounge, ambient, nu jazz, that kind of thing. I’ve had the web radio station Groovera’s Jet City Lounge as my daily background ambience for years. Sometimes, when I really want to listen to music, it’s usually various rock and pop bands I like, or rarely classical (I’m a classically trained pianist).
